FACE RECOGNITION TERMINAL

4-Inch Palm Vein Recognition Terminal With Face Recognition

The EASCO 4-inch palm vein recognition terminal puts two contactless biometric authentication methods in one compact unit. Palm vein matching responds in 0.1 s, and face recognition matches in 200–300 ms at 99.98% rated accuracy. Dual RGB and IR cameras keep it working in full darkness, and the IP65 housing suits indoor and outdoor doors. It connects to existing platforms through Wiegand 26/34, RS485 or TCP/IP.

0.1 s Palm Vein and 200–300 ms Face Recognition

Infrared palm vein scanning reads the vein pattern under the skin, which can’t be lifted from a surface or photographed. A built-in 4-spot infrared sensor keeps capture stable under bright or uneven light. Face recognition works at 0.5–3 m, so staff can choose either credential at the same door.

Dual-Biometric Palm Vein Access Control System

Most sites need more than one credential. With face and palm vein in one palm vein access control system, users who wear masks, helmets or safety glasses can still pass quickly. Sensitive doors can require both factors for stronger biometric door access security.

Recognition speed: Palm 0.1 s; face 200–300 ms
Capacity: 50,000 faces and 10,000 palms onboard
Face distance: 0.5–3 m
RGB camera: 2 MP, wide dynamic range
IR camera: 2 MP for night and low light
Liveness detection Rejects photos, screen replays and printed masks

Open APIs and Custom Development

Wiegand 26/34 output connects directly to third-party access panels and time-attendance systems with no firmware changes. RS485 handles multi-device bus wiring. TCP/IP over RJ45 or 2.4 GHz WiFi links the terminal to network management software. SDK and API documentation support custom platforms. Distributors can also order OEM branding.

Palm or Face Presented. Matched. Door Opens. 4 Steps.

The whole palm vein authentication system runs locally, with no cloud delay on the access decision.

1

Step 1 — Detection

The IR sensor detects a palm or a face at the terminal, and liveness detection confirms a real person.

2

Step 2 — Recognition

The terminal matches the palm vein pattern in 0.1 s or the face in 200–300 ms against its onboard templates.

3

Step 3 — Access Signal

A match triggers the relay, Wiegand or RS485 output, and the lock or gate releases.

4

Step 4 — Record and Reset

The event is logged and synced to your platform. The terminal is then ready for the next user.

What Buyers Ask Before Ordering the 4-Inch Face Recognition Terminal

Near-infrared light maps the vein pattern under the palm skin. The pattern is unique to each person and is very hard to copy from outside the body.

Yes. Users hold the palm near the sensor without touching it, which suits shared and hygiene-sensitive doors.

50,000 faces and 10,000 palms onboard. Recognition runs locally without a network connection.

Yes. The 2 MP IR camera works in full darkness, the IP65 housing resists dust and water jets, and the operating range is -25°C to +75°C.
