With QR code and RFID card access built into one face recognition access control terminal, a single lane serves everyone. You don’t need a separate card reader or QR scanner.
AI Facial Recognition Technology With Liveness Detection
A 2 MP wide-dynamic RGB camera handles normal and backlit scenes, and a 2 MP IR camera keeps recognition accurate at night with no extra lighting. AI facial recognition technology checks liveness first, so printed photos, screen replays and printed masks are rejected.
Open APIs and Turnstile Gate Integration
Wiegand 26/34 output connects to third-party access panels and time-attendance systems with no firmware changes. RS485 supports multi-device bus wiring, and TCP/IP over RJ45 or 2.4 GHz WiFi links to network management software. For turnstile gate integration, EASCO can mount and configure the ES-QR8 on its own speed gates before shipment. Distributors can also order OEM branding.

Step 1 — Presence Detection
The IR camera detects a person at 0.5–3 m and confirms liveness. Visitors can present a QR code, or users can tap a card.
Step 2 — Recognition
The face is matched against 50,000 templates in 200–300 ms, or the QR code or card is validated.
Step 3 — Access Signal
The relay, Wiegand or RS485 output opens the gate or releases the lock.
Step 4 — Record and Reset
The event is logged and synced, and the terminal is ready for the next user.
